Welcome to the College of Science and Mathematics at Valdosta State University! 

Thank you for choosing to pursue your education with us. You are joining a community committed to student success, academic innovation, discovery, and preparing graduates to make an impact in a rapidly changing world. 

The College of Science and Mathematics is being built for the future. We are strengthening our foundation in the sciences and mathematics while expanding opportunities in emerging areas such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Biotechnology, Climate Science, Environmental Sustainability, and Geospatial Intelligence. Our goal is to align your education with the technologies, careers, and challenges shaping tomorrow. This direction reflects our broader effort to modernize STEM pathways and respond to emerging workforce needs.  

But your experience here is more than earning a degree. We want you to learn by doing—through research, laboratories, projects, internships, industry partnerships, and experiences that connect what you learn in the classroom to real-world challenges.
