VSU will host the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Georgia Academy of Science

The 99th Annual Meeting of the Georgia Academy of Science will be hosted by VSU in Spring 2022. The Georgia Academy of Science is dedicated to the advancement of science and science education in the state of Georgia, and is affiliated with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the National Association of Academies of Science (NAAS).  Disciplines represented by the Academy include: Anthropology, Biology, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Mathematics, Philosophy and History of Science, Physics, and Science Education.

This will be the first face-to-face meeting of the Academy in two years, and it will be an excellent opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to present their research at this meeting.  Meeting dates and the call for abstracts will be announced later this fall. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Jim Nienow, Professor of Biology (jnienow@valdosta.edu).
