PSST Auditions and holds Technical Interviews in the early part of the year for each season's company.  

  • Local Auditions (on the VSU Campus) for Adult Actors: Saturday, January 17, 2026.
    • Sawyer Theatre, VSU Fine Arts Building, first floor.
    • Please prepare two 16-bar cuts of contrasting musical theatre songs. An accompanist will be provided. No tracks or acapella.
    • The dance call will be held after vocal auditions, so make sure you bring appropriate clothing to change into. Please bring your tap shoes.
    • In between the vocal auditions and the dance call, we will have a meeting to discuss our season, about PSST and address general questions you may have. 
    • Depending on the number of auditionees, this could become a full day.
    • Please submit a completed Adult Actor Local Audition form (below) no later than the deadline, 2 days prior to the audition.
    • Local Adult Audition form.
  • Local Auditions (on the VSU Campus) for Child Actors: date & time TBD later into the Spring.
    • We will be teaching auditionees a cutting from a song.
    • There will be a dance audition after the vocal auditions, so please bring clothing to change into that you can move in.
    • Parents, we will have a meeting in between vocal auditions and the dance call to tell you about PSST and answer any questions you may have. 
    • Please submit a completed Child Actor Local Audition form (below) no later than end of day Tuesday, prior to the audition.
    • Local Audition form for child actors is not available at this time.
  • We will be accepting adult actors online submissions via Backstage.com.  The posting will be available in early January, 2026.
  • We will be posting tech positions on OffStageJobs.com.  The posting will be available in early January, 2025.

PSST is registered to participate in:
USITT Connects: Summer Stock in mid January.
Atlanta Unifieds (auditions & job fair) in January 2026.
Southeastern Theatre Conference's Convention (auditions & job fair) in March 2026.  

Auditionees who have successfully registered for the audition, please look for an email from psstboxoffice.  It may go to your clutter folders.  The email will offer further details for the auditions.
