Peach State Summer Theatre is in the midst of an exciting transformation as construction continues on our new and improved venue. While this renovation will ultimately allow us to better serve our artists and audiences, unexpected delays in the building schedule mean we must make adjustments to our upcoming season.

As a result, our 2026 season will feature two Broadway-caliber productions (please scroll down) instead of our usual three. The productions will be presented in our long-time home, Sawyer Theatre in VSU's Fine Arts Building. While our season will be slightly reduced, our summer musical lineup promises to be one to remember — filled with the heart, energy, and artistry that define Peach State Summer Theatre.

We share your disappointment that construction is taking longer than expected, and we remain deeply grateful for your patience, enthusiasm, and unwavering support.

While we count down the days until the curtain rises in our new Performing Arts Center — a venue worthy of our extraordinary community of theatre lovers — the show must go on.

We hope you will join us for a truly special summer as Peach State Summer Theater takes it final bow in Sawyer Theatre

It's a milestone moment in our story — and we're celebrating with a summer full of laughter, music, and memories.
  • PSST 2026 will open June 5 and run through July 4, 2026.
  • The 2026 season will consist of 2 productions presented in rotating repertory.
  • PSST will have a new ticketing system in place.  We anticipate online customers will find the new platform much easier to navigate.
  • PSST 2027 will be in the VSU Performing Arts Center.
