RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am a plant molecular biochemist with broad interests in the principles of genetics, cell biology and stress physiology and 10+ years of experience in formulating, troubleshooting and managing interdisciplinary projects. My research interests are in the area of translational control mechanisms (regulation of protein synthesis). In addition, I am interested in developing new technologies for plant phenotyping, setting intellectual property initiatives and developing new teaching tools for customizing undergraduate student learning/assessment.
