NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR!!

The Student Conduct Advisory Council is composed of students selectively chosen by staff from the Office of Student Conduct & Title IX. The Advisory Council has vested powers of the student body to conduct formal hearings for students alleged to have violated the Student Code of Conduct. In this capacity the students, referred to as Justices, serve as student representatives for the Blazer Creed by being hearing panelists, peer educators, and student conduct process advisors.

Candidates must be enrolled at Valdosta State University and must have a minimum 2.8 GPA and a clear disciplinary record. Members of the Advisory Council are held to the highest of student conduct standards, requiring outstanding character and adherence to a strict code of ethics. Justices must be available one Friday afternoon per month during the academic semester for meetings. As part of the rotational schedule for hearings, Justices should also plan to be available for at least one additional Friday per month.
