The Office of Student Conduct and Title IX provides services and corrective actions that will protect educational access, as well as prevent and respond to harassment and discrimination on campus. In collaboration with other campus stakeholders, we will strive to promote knowledge of responsibility and encourage civilityintegrity, and citizenship.

2024-2025 Highlights

Launched and grew a monthly newsletter designed to inform, educate, and spotlight the campus community. Each issue shared upcoming activities and events, highlighted key conduct and Title IX information, and featured faculty, staff, and Student Conduct Advisory Council members.

Expanded classroom engagement by partnering with academic departments across campus. SCOTIX team members visited BIOL, CHEM, Fine Arts, and INQR classes to educate students on student conduct and Title IX, and were invited to provide large-scale trainings for groups such as the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Partnered with Housing to train RAs and RHDs on proper Maxient case management. Together, the teams closed over 300 outstanding cases and implemented a new process for ongoing management. SCOTIX also created a custom Maxient user manual to support continued success and consistency across housing staff.

Looking ahead: 2025-2026 Goals

The Office of Student Conduct and Title IX will recruit and train at least five faculty members to serve on a Title IX hearing panel—filling a critical gap and ensuring readiness for cases requiring faculty participation.

The team will continue collaborating with student organizations, adding at least two new partnerships to strengthen peer education, awareness, and engagement across campus.

The Office of Access & Testing will enhance its social media presence to better connect with students and share important resources. Through consistent online engagement, the office will work to increase awareness of its services, promote accessibility initiatives, and strengthen connections across the campus community.
