Faculty & Staff: Join VSU MILCON

BLUF: Call to faculty and staff military veterans and affiliated individuals interested in self-identifying within the VSU organization to participate in a rewarding initiative focused on peer-to-peer connections, student mentorship, and various opportunities for our military population. 
1. Mentorship: Shape Future Talent
    • The Ask: Volunteer to serve as a mentor to students interested in careers like ours or the ones we instruct, additionally assisting in their educational goals as they transition from service to civilian life.
    • The Impact: Share your invaluable experiences, technical knowledge, and leadership lessons learned during your service to guide a young person's career path.
  2. Military-Connected Comradery: Strengthen Our Peer Network
  • The Ask: Join our efforts to build and strengthen our internal military network.
  • The Impact: In the hopes of scheduling informal networking opportunities (e.g., a monthly virtual coffee or lunch) to share experiences, offer peer support, local resources, and reinforce the powerful connection of service and experience you all share.
