Welcome to Campus Recreation
The mission of the Department of Campus Recreation is to provide students, faculty, staff, and members of the campus community the opportunity to experience lifelong activities while enhancing their well-being by promoting fitness and wellness, by offering a positive outlet for stress, by providing safe and clean quality facilities, equipment, and programs. Furthermore, Campus Recreation strives to promote a healthy college experience while building interpersonal and leadership skills.
Our indoor facilities offer several multipurpose courts, a heated swimming pool, a climbing wall, a jogging track, and designated fitness areas including group fitness classrooms and our state-of-the-art weight room; outside, our recreational fields as well as the Leadership Challenge Course hosted by CORE Outdoors are here to help suit all the recreational needs of our members. Along with our facilities, many programs here at the SRC, such as Aquatics, CORE Outdoors, Intramural and Club Sports, and Group Fitness, offer activities and events that encourage members to join together in a fun, active environment.
