As public support for higher education has declined the value of private giving to VSU has dramatically increased. During the past twelve months gifts to VSU have supported student scholarships, faculty research, faculty and student travel, critical equipment purchases, technology enhancements, fine arts performances, infrastructure improvements, and VSU athletics. Many of the unique qualities that make the VSU experience more would be lost without the financial gifts of our alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends.

Giving to VSU is easy, and gifts to VSU are an investment in the lives of thousands of people who are affected daily by the impact of our university. While unrestricted gifts to the VSU Excellence Fund allow for the greatest flexibility in meeting the university’s needs, gifts may be restricted to a variety of projects A link to a complete list of funding opportunities is located on the left side of this page as well as a link that allows gifts to be made securely on-line via Visa or MasterCard. There are a variety of ways to make a gift to VSU:
