Once a student is accepted, there are a few actions items needed to complete the VSU Dual Enrollment process

  •  Receive your acceptance email
    • Included in your Dual Enrollment acceptance email, you will find information on how to set-up your MyVSU account.
  • Complete the student/parent portion of the Dual Enrollment Funding Application
    • Students attending an eligible public or private high school or Home Study Program must complete the online Dual Enrollment Funding Application. 
  • Schedule your advising appointment
    • Newly accepted Dual Enrollment students a required to schedule an appointment with the Student Services Coordinator for Dual Enrollment, Megan Hancock, to be advised and registered. Follow the instructions in your acceptance email to schedule an advisement and registration appointment.
  • Submit immunization forms and verification of lawful presence. 
    • Immunizations Form
      • Note: Online Dual Enrollment students can complete the "Immunization Form Waiver for Online and Distance Learners"
    • Verification of Lawful Presence
    • Documents can be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions via email admissions@valdosta.edu.  
  • Check your email
    • The VSU Dual Enrollment Office will continue to keep you up-to-date on your enrollment status and other important information regarding the VSU Dual Enrollment program.

Dual Enrollment Orientation

At the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester, a Virtual Orientation Session will be held. A link to the live Virtual Orientation Session will be sent out prior to the event. Students and families who are unable to attend the live session will be sent the recorded session once the event has completed.
