Prine Challenge Coin Recipient
The Valdosta Police Department recently awarded Valdosta State
University’s Dr. Rudy Prine, professor of criminal justice, with a
Challenge Coin. Dr. Prine earned the award by conducting a Task
Analysis Project, which analyzed the job descriptions of all VPD
employees. The project analysis will lend itself to part of an
ongoing evaluation process to maintain department accreditation
standards.
“We [department faculty and staff] are thrilled that Dr. Prine’s
work has been acknowledged by the award of the Challenge Coin,”
said Dr. Allen Anderson, department head of Sociology, Anthropology
and Criminal Justice.
