VSU hosts Blaze Sports Clinic
October is Disability Awareness Month and as part of the
activities, Valdosta State University will host the Blaze Sports
Clinic, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Old Gym. The Blaze Sports
Program invites people of all ages to take part in this free
event.
The clinic will provide fun activities such as wheelchair
basketball and wheelchair rugby in which the general public can
find out what it is like to have a disability. Attendants are asked
to wear non-marking soled shoes upon admission.
