Ruby Sullivan in 2012

Ruby Sullivan was an inspiring educator. In 2012 Valdosta State held a reception to honor Mrs. Sullivan’s lifetime of service and announce the Sullivan Scholar Scholarship. It was a very important day for Valdosta State University. The video below features Mrs. Sullivan talking about her time at Valdosta State University when she was a student learning to be a teacher (and the name of our school was Georgia State Woman’s College at Valdosta), her work as an educator, and her vision for the Sullivan Scholarship.
