The HAPPENING 2026
Thursday, August 27, 2026, 1pm-4pm
The Happening Information Fair, held every fall on the VSU front lawn, is an opportunity for students to have fun in the South Georgia outdoors while learning more about what our community has to offer. The Happening is also an opportunity for local businesses, nonprofits, and religious and civic organizations to introduce themselves to thousands of students, face to face, at one time, in one location.
Exhibitors host fun activities, offer free food samples and giveaways to get students’ attention. The Happening is a great opportunity to advertise employment and opportunities, interest students in community service activities, and tell them all about your products and services.
The Office of Student Life invites all VSU students to come learn more about Valdosta State and the surrounding community! Enjoy music, free food, games, and plenty of giveaways!!
Registration will close on August 14th at 3:00pm.
