How Do I Apply?
Students will receive conditional admission to Valdosta State University after they have completed:
- Application for Regular Admission
- SBA Contract for Success
- SBA application
- If applicable, FAFSA form (Completed Online)

In addition, your GPA must meet VSU’s Freshman Index(FI) requirement of 2040. To calculate your GPA, follow the steps below:
Freshman Index* (FI) 2040.
• FI = total SAT Score + (500 x high school academic GPA) ACT Composite will be used FI calculation
• Only Critical Reading & Math are used in SAT calculation. Composite Score for ACT calculation
