Wellness Committee offers Lunch-N-Learn Nov. 14
VALDOSTA - The Campus Wellness Committee at Valdosta State
University will host a lunch-n-learn titled “Taste of the Holidays”
from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the University Center
The event will feature guest chef Roberta Stevens, who will demonstrate healthy cooking for participants to sample. Stevens is a registered dietician with Tallahassee Memorial Diabetes Center. Those who attend will walk away with great tips for wellness and healthy eating to consider throughout the upcoming holiday season.
Lunch will feature crab stuffed mushrooms, southwestern chicken soup, Hawaiian meatballs and marinated vegetables vinaigrette. Cost is $6.95, which can be paid with a dining services meal plan. Call (229) 259-5105 or visit www.valdosta.edu/finadmin/training to make a reservation.
