Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an international program that aims to raise awareness and encourage communcation about gender relations and sexual violence. Men throughouth the campus and local communicty are invited to walk in red high-heeled shoes to draw attention to the issue. All proceeds are donated to The Haven. This event is hosted by The Valdosta State University Rho Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc., with assistance from the VSU Relationship & Sexual Violence Prevention (RSVP) Task Force, The Haven, VSU Counseling Center, Women & Gender Studies Department, VSU Campus Recreation & VSU's Office of Student Diversity & Inclusion.

Walk Route

The route and opening ceremony will begin in front of Odum Library. From there, the walk will take place through the Pedestrian Mall and around the perimeter of the university.
