What is ICare

Referring students to ICare, Internet-Based Cognitive Behavioral Training

ICare is research-supported, internet-based, and mobile-friendly self-guided training developed specifically for college students experiencing depression, anxiety, or both who do not need psychotherapy with a licensed physician. Here's more about it:

  • Counseling Center clinicians can refer students to ICare by contacting the Christie Campus Health Navigators, who will enroll the student in ICare.
  • It is comprised of seven sessions (one session per week) plus a booster session.
  • Each ICare participant is assigned a Navigator, who communicates with each student during their participation in the program.
  • Students’ progress through ICare will be communicated back to the Counseling Center via the daily report file
