Since the first International Business majors stepped through the classroom doors, we have added the Healthcare Administration major, proposed another new major in Logistics & Supply Chain Management that is currently under review, and instituted ten new minors that Minor Programs, MAJOR STRIDES opened up the college of business to the wider university community. It is these minors that have contributed quite a bit to the growth that the Langdale College of Business Administration has experienced in recent years. Already, new ideas for additional minors are being discussed by our faculty, including the possibility of sports-marketing, consumer research, accounting fraud, financial sales, economic development, and international marketing minors. Stay tuned to see what other programs we come up with. Advertising & Promotions The Advertising minor is designed to change that perspective, giving students a bit more depth into a much more specific marketing arena. The goal with this minor is to expand student knowledge of advertising, advertising research, creative strategy, digital and social media marketing, and other promotional efforts as well as to give them experience in developing their own advertisements across a variety of platforms. Business Law We started the business law minor to expand the opportunities for these non-majors, as well as majors, to acquire a better understanding of the legal environment of business.
