The most important benefits were those that provided VSU students with opportunities to develop both personally and professionally. Students that participated in the program had a chance to see the world and experience a new INTERNATIONAL STEPPING STONES LCOBA’s Journey Abroad country with all of its culture, cuisine and activities. This experience also included exposure to new terrains, natural wonders, and museums and landmarks of the country visited. The education component of the experience was equally important, as it allowed VSU students to immerse themselves in the education system of their host country.
