We also have graduate assistants who support us with advising and administrative duties in the office. It is a priority to encourage our students to get involved with campus organizations to develop the student both personally and professionally, find their passion in a career field, and aid the student from their acceptance into VSU to beyond their graduation day. CAREER COUNSELING Mr. Michael Kitchens, Student Engagement Career Counselor, is experienced in coaching students on how to achieve their professional goals. With many tools in his tool belt, Mr. Kitchens is able to offer the following services to students, alumni, faculty/staff and community members affiliated with the Langdale College of Business Administration: • Career counseling/assessment • Resume/cover letter assistance • Mock interviews/interview skills training • Part-time/full-time job search • Classroom presentations/workshops for faculty and student organizations Whether you are starting fresh or advancing your career, we will help you identify how your current skills and experience can translate into new opportunities. LCOBA provides the following services for our employer and community business partners: • Career and Internship Postings • Resume Review & Applicant Screening • Distribute applications • Arrange interviews and provide on-campus space for interviewing • Customized Recruitment Events or recruitment fairs Our qualified, professional staff will work with our employers and community partners to ensure that their recruitment needs are met with qualified professionals.
