Combining a content-rich Bachelor of Arts degree with a clinical based Bachelor of Science in Education degree equips graduates with knowledge of necessary historical content as well as extensive experience teaching that material in local schools under the guidance of professional educators.

This innovative program -- accredited by Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation -- enables graduates to earn two degrees with as few as 126 hours (only 6 more hours than the minimum needed for any 4-year degree). Graduates receive the initial teacher certification enabling them to be hired in Georgia and sets them on the path to earning their professional certificate after three years of successful teaching.
