Higher Education Leadership Program
The Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership program offers students a blend of classroom learning and practical experiences as they grow as scholars and professionals involved in the operations of academic affairs and student services in higher education. With two tracks higher education and student affairs the program enables students to tailor their academic career to achieve specific professional goals.
Courses expose students to a range of learning and development theories; explore the history of American higher education, interpret financial and organizational structures, evaluate institutional effectiveness, and analyze educational research. An emphasis on learning through technology invites students to develop instructional applications in a variety of software programs and create Web resources to further academic achievement and student learning.
Faculty and staff encourage diverse internship experiences for students to translate theories into practice as they develop a personal philosophy of higher education. CLICK HERE to read more about graduate assistant and internship opportunities.
