Wendy Byrd currently serves as the Training Specialist for HR and Employee & Organizational Development at Valdosta State University. She has a bachelor’s degree in Management from Florida State University and a master’s degree in Management from Troy State University. Wendy is passionate about developing and empowering others to be their best self. She has worked in higher education for the last 16 years.
In her current role, she primarily works with training course design and facilitation, collaborating with campus teams for professional development needs assessment and programming, and serving the campus as the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Coordinator. When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
