Victoria Owens serves as the Graduate Assistant for the CHSS Advising Center. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Communication Disorders to become a speech-language pathologist. Prior to moving to Valdosta, Victoria worked as a caretaker for two individuals with disabilities while earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. Her passion in life is to help others, and she is eager to help student’s college experience go smoothly.
Victoria’s interests include natural living and homesteading. She enjoys learning new skills, most recently how to spin yarn and knit. Additionally, she creates many products to support the health of her family and enjoys researching to grow her knowledge. Victoria is an avid cook of whole foods and loves trying new recipes from her favorite chefs. You can be sure to find her at the local farmer’s market with her husband, Jonah, and dog, Piper; one day, she dreams of having her own garden full of vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
