
Dr. Sheba Phillip
Part-time Instructor, Social work
Dr. Sheba Phillips is an instructor in the Social Work program at Valdosta State University. She earned both her B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology, an M.S. in Social Work from Valdosta State University, and a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from the University of Southern California, Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. She is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, nationally certified in TF-CBT, EMDR, and play therapy trained. Her research interest is in the impact of traumatic exposure in marginalized and minority communities.
