Statement of teaching and research interests:
Dr. Oh’s teaching and research interests include public management, organizational theory and behavior, and human resources management, with a particular emphasis on public sector innovation, leadership, organizational culture, and performance in public organizations. Specifically, his research centers on how public leaders, managers, and employees collectively address both internal and external workplace challenges to cultivate more resilient, transformative, and inclusive public organizations that effectively serve diverse democratic communities. Methodologically, he uses quantitative research designs, including survey research and survey experiments, quasi-experimental approaches, regression and structural equation modeling (SEM), and moderated mediation. He also conducts cross-sector and cross-national comparative analyses. Dr. Oh has taught courses in quantitative research methods, organizational theory and behavior, negotiation and conflict resolution, and advanced research and writing.
