Bilingual Admissions Counselor
Hometown: Orange Walk Town, Belize
About: Leaving my home country of Belize to pursue my education at VSU was one of the best decisions I ever made. The gorgeous palm trees and friendly community definitely made me feel welcomed. I was so excited about the variety of programs to study and opportunities to join student organizations on campus. Most importantly though, I appreciated the small class sizes, where I was given the chance to get to know my professors well. Valdosta State University offers a unique experience to students by focusing on academic success, leadership, and community involvement. I would be honored to show you what Valdosta State University has in store for you!
Favorite Spot on Campus: The Student Union! As a student I would always meet my friends during breaks to have coffee at Starbucks or sit on the comfy couches on the third floor to catch up on some reading. I also enjoyed visiting the bookstore to check out the latest VSU gear.
Best Advice for Incoming Students: My best advice is to keep an open mind to new experiences during your four years of college. It is a life changing time and you should take advantage of the opportunity to learn new skills and become involved.
