Advising Areas: Political Science (Pre-Law & International Studies Tracks), Organizational Leadership, and Undergraduate Public Administration Minor

Kyle joined the CHSS Advising Center as a full-time Academic Advisor in 2018. He currently advises undergraduate students in VSU's Political Science, Undergraduate Public Administration Minor, and Organizational Leadership programs. In addition to advising duties, Kyle coordinates the CHSS Advising Center's team of Graduate Assistants. Before his work in the CHSS Advising Center, he advised undergraduate students in VSU's Office of Centralized Advising, where he served as a liaison to the College of Education & Human Services. He previously served as a Graduate Assistant in the Public Administration & Organizational Leadership Programs where he gained his passion for working with students and academic advising. 

Kyle's interests include community engagement and social justice. He has served as a Disaster Services Volunteer with the South Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross, most recently assisting with sheltering efforts during Hurricanes Hermine, Matthew, Irma, and Michael. He has served as Board Member & Treasurer of Keep Lowndes/Valdosta Beautiful, which hosts several local community cleanups and recycling events throughout the year. Moreover, he currently serves as a Board Member & Secretary for Mission 3E. He enjoys traveling, gaming, and spending time with friends, pets, and family in his spare time. In 2020, Kyle completed the Siegel Institute's Graduate Certificate program in Leadership & Ethics at Kennesaw State University and is currently enrolled in the Higher Education Administration doctoral program at the University of West Georgia.
