Kelly Langenberg (DMA-University of IL at Urbana-Champaign, MM-DePaul University, BM, BME- Baldwin-Wallace University) is a classical musician and Horn Instructor based in the Florida Panhandle. Prior to moving to Florida in 2020, Kelly’s appointments included Applied Faculty at Northern Illinois University, University of Illinois-Chicago, North Park University, and Illinois Wesleyan University. An active freelancer, Kelly’s “ferociously powerful” (ITG Journal, 2014) playing has been heard in orchestral and chamber music settings throughout the United States and abroad. Orchestral experiences include the Chicago Philharmonic, Wisconsin Philharmonic, Dubuque, Peoria, Lake Forest, Elgin, Kalamazoo, Quad City, and Yucatan (Mexico) symphonies, and locally with the Pensacola Symphony, Northwest FL Orchestra, Sinfonia Gulf Coast, and the Valdosta Symphony. As a chamber musician, Kelly is a member of the Alliance Brass Quintet and Alloy Horn Quartet and has performed at Italian Brass Week Festival, Fred Brass, Wildflower Festival, and the International Horn Symposium as a Featured Artist.  Beyond classical music settings, she has performed live (and recorded an album) with Doc Severinsen, Peter Gabriel, Josh Groban, Il Volo, Celtic Women, and several other pop artists. Langenberg has presented masterclasses at schools and universities throughout North America and Europe. A passion for artistic leadership led Kelly to pursue a cognate area in Higher Ed Administration and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from University of IL at Chicago.  Langenberg is a Hans Hoyer USA Concert Artist and a Denis Wick Artist and Clinician.
