Teaching Interests:
My primary teaching interests are in the area of financial accounting. I currently teach Principles of Accounting I, Intermediate Accounting I, and Intermediate Accounting II, and I have also taught Principles of Accounting II and Data Analytics in Accounting. I am passionate about helping students bridge the gap between accounting theory and practice by integrating technology and AI tools into my courses and by developing practical, real-world applications and cases. My teaching philosophy emphasizes active learning, critical thinking, and the development of skills that will prepare students for success in their professional careers.

Research Interests:
My research interests broadly encompass financial accounting and accounting education. I am particularly interested in examining factors that influence financial reporting quality and audit quality, as well as issues affecting the accounting profession and pipeline. In addition to academic research, I enjoy developing practitioner-oriented publications that address emerging trends and challenges in the field. I am also dedicated to creating and publishing instructional case studies that can be incorporated into accounting curricula to enrich student learning. This blend of academic, applied, and pedagogical research allows me to contribute to both the scholarly literature and the professional practice of accounting.
