University of Rochester
I was raised in Rochester, New York, where I went to college, graduate school and then started a family. In 1994 we moved to Atlanta and I became the Counseling Department Coordinator and the Director of College Counseling at Saint Francis High School in Milton. It was then that I learned about Valdosta State University and all that it had to offer my students. We would take bus tours to the campus and my students would fall in love with the size, architecture and beauty of the campus. Over the years, I sent dozens of students to Valdosta and heard about their experiences and the opportunities they were afforded by attending such a great institution. Many of those students are now graduated and have successful careers in their fields. I am so excited to be working for Valdosta State as an Admissions Counselor in my new home of Florida and look forward to sharing with you all the great things about our school!
