Chia-ling Lynn Ho

Dr. Ho strives to turn her students into critical-thinkers who are excited to seek answers about communication, and tie it in with existing problems in the world.

She conducts both theoretically-driven and application-based research. Her research spans across interpersonal communication, human-computer interaction, health communication, and intercultural communication. Dr. Ho examines how message content affects the way(s) people cognitively process information in online and offline contexts. She uses a variety of methods to understand these phenomena, including experiments, surveys, and content analyses.
