At Valdosta State, we strive to create a safe, affordable living-learning environment that enhances and strengthens our residents’ academic and interpersonal development. Our Residence Halls are far more than “dorm rooms.” Our Housing and Residence Life staff are dedicated to making your on-campus living experience more than just a place to rest your head! Housing does not operate with strict deadlines but they encourage students not to wait to submit housing application. The housing application fee and security deposit is $200. Roommate assignments will be made in early July. Housing assignments are made based on the date a student completes the housing application (with deposit). Housing application opens in mid-October. Earlier deposit dates ensures a student will receive one of their residence hall choices. Just So You Know
