b'Graduate AssistantshipsAn assistantship at Valdosta State University is an excellent way to offset the cost of your graduate education. The Graduate School works with departments across campus to offer numerous graduate assistantships for masters and doctoral degree seeking graduate students. Assistantships are diverse in nature and encompass a wide variety of responsibilities and duties while allowing students to also achieve their academic goals. Assistantships offer opportunities to work with faculty on research or instructional support that is related to the students clinical or field work. Our assistantships also offer a tuition waiver as well as a monthly stipend.To be eligible for a graduate assistantship, you must have an undergraduate degree or its equivalent, be admitted to a graduate program, and be prepared to work full-time toward the degree.
