The following guidelines are designed to allow registered student organizations (who are in good standing) and administrative and academic departments to submit announcements for publication via the VSU Student Activities Email Distribution Group.
The Student Activities Email Distribution Group (firstname.lastname@example.org) is intended to disseminate extra- and co-curricular information to currently enrolled students. The list is utilized for a variety of messages such as organization fundraisers, blood drives, study abroad opportunities, job fairs, free movies and other entertainment events, special speakers, volunteer/community service projects, student club meetings and recruitment activities, Student Government Association news, voter registration information, health/wellness announcements, and special or invited speakers.
Activities Announcement emails are published Monday and Thursday during fall and spring semesters and on Tuesdays in the summer. Subscription is voluntary, members of the VSU community may unsubscribe and re-subscribe at any time. *You must include the name of the organization sponsoring the event, as well as the name, time, date, and location of the event in the flyer.
*Flyers must be submitted in a jpeg or png format.
