Advising Information for 2016-2017 Catalog

There were several small changes in the CS and CIS degree requirements that take affect in Fall 2017 and forward. You can use the catalog you are currently on, or follow the new one. The changes are:

CS Requirement
<= Fall 2016  Three Area D.2.a lab science courses required including a sequence.
>= Fall 2017

Two Area D.2.a lab science courses required including a sequence
and one Area D.1 lab science course.
CIS Requirement
<= Fall 2016 
  1. Math 1262 required in Area F
  2. Two CS 3xxx electives required in Senior College
  3. Either CS 4122, 4322, or 4722 required in Senior College
  4. One CS 4xxx elective required in Senior College
>= Fall 2017
  1. Math 1262 no longer required
  2. Three CS 3xxx electives required in Senior College
  3. Choice of CS 4122, 4322, or 4722 no longer required
  4. Two CS 4xxx elective required in Senior College
