6. Budget and Finance

The university’s budget is determined by the Board of Regents. The new fiscal year begins each July. The College’s budget is determined by the Office of the President and Cabinet in consultation with the Provost and Dean—see VSU Budget Processes. The Dean and each department head maintain budgets for the effective management of the college and departments. In addition, faculty members manage budgets associated with external funding sources.
