Transfer Student Information


To determine whom your advisor is, login to Banner and choose Student Information. You can email your advisor directly from here. If you are able to start in your professional courses upon your arrival at Valdosta State University, your advisor may be a professor in your major’s department, if not, it will be someone located in the Advising Center, room 1020 in the Education Center. At any time, if you have questions or concerns, the College of Education Student Advising Center (COE-SAC) should be your first stop ( 229-245-3880). Additional Admissions Criteria.

I am a transfer student planning on coming to VSU with a College of Education major.

Once accepted to VSU, contact the COE Advising Center ( 229-245-3880) to be advised.

If you have not applied to VSU, but plan to transfer, please feel free to contact the Advising Center ( 229-245-3880) to find out what you need to have completed prior to transferring to be ready to start in your major.

  2. Select the state you are transferring from
  3. Then, select the school you are transferring from
  4. A list of the transferable classes will be listed.
