  • Alcohol and Other Drug Education VSU acknowledges the fact that alcohol and other drugs can have a significant impact on the university community. We are taking a proactive stance in educating students on issues related to alcohol and drug use in an effort to prevent the development of substance abuse problems. If a student has concerns regarding their relationship with alcohol or other drugs, they may obtain an assessment, at no cost, to determine the extent of the substance abuse problem.
  • Campus Recreation The Department of Campus Recreation provides students, faculty, staff, and members of the campus community the opportunity to experience lifelong activities while enhancing their well-being through fitness and wellness.
  • Career Opportunities The mission of the Office of Career Opportunities is to collaborate with our employer and community partners to develop the employment potential of our students and graduates.
  • Counseling Center The Counseling Center offers an atmosphere in which individuals may discuss their concerns with the assurance that all counseling information will remain confidential. Individuals seek counseling for a variety of reasons, including stress, depression, anxiety, family and relationship issues, physical or sexual abuse, academic difficulties, substance abuse, and identity concerns. Any issue causing you concern is appropriate to bring to counseling
  • Greek Life The Greek system at Valdosta State has continually maintained the highest standards of excellence among the organizations on campus. Each chapter is dedicated to promoting the high ideals for which it was founded, including scholarship, philanthropic service to the University and community, leadership development, and sisterhood/brotherhood
  • Health Services The Student Health Center provides routine and acute and urgent health care for all students who have satisfied the health fee requirement. The health fee makes the student eligible for services at the health center during that semester.
  • Housing & Residence Life The mission of the Office of Housing and Residence Life is to provide affordable quality housing in a safe and secure environment.
  • Student Conduct The Office of Student Conduct (OSC) primary function is to investigate and determine whether there is responsibility for various allegations made against a student or organization relative to the Student Code of Conduct.
  • Student Diversity and Inclusion Our objective is to plan and implement programs and events to create an inclusive and supportive campus environment for all students through an understanding of differences that intersects in a way that is beneficial through involvement and respect.

  • Student Leadership and Volunteer Services The Department of Student Leadership and Volunteer Services provides a variety of programs and services to assist students in developing their leadership potential and prepares students for lives of active community engagement within a complex and changing world.
