What is a smart classroom?

A smart classroom is a classroom that that has an instructor station equipped with computer and audiovisual equipment, allowing the instructor to teach using a wide variety of media. These include DVD and VHS playback, PowerPoint presentations, and more all displayed through a data projector.

Equipment available in rooms:

Epson projector data projector (min 3000 lumens) for displaying PC and video 
ID350 Smart Sympodium 
Electric Screen
SLVD380p Sony DVD/VCR Combo
KSI 8081-CSD-FR Ceiling Mounted Speakers
Samsung SDP-950XA document camera (not all rooms include this item)
Computer-minimum Pentium IV 2.8 GHz Processor, 2 Gb memory and DVD drive 
Connectivity to Internet
Auxiliary laptop and A/V inputs to allow connection of laptop or other A/V devices to be added to system

Emergencies

Call the IT HelpDesk ar 4357 and ask for a technician to be dispatched to the room or press the help button on the Xpanel (in rooms with this feature).
