2. Certificate of Finances

  • All international students are required to show evidence of sufficient funds that will be available for their educational and living expenses at VSU.
  • For students who have applied/applying for the International Student Scholarship: VSU applications and the International Student Scholarship are two separate applications, with different deadlines. If possible, do not wait to submit your Certificate of Finance, so that you can start on your student visa application.

Once you have completed your final (senior) year of high school (secondary school), you must submit an official copy of your final high school transcript that includes when you received your high school diploma.
    • If your high school transcripts are not in English, please have them translated by one of the N.A.C.E.S. member organizations.
  • College/ University Transcripts
    • Please have your transcripts evaluated by one of the N.A.C.E.S. member organizations for any non-U.S. college/university transcripts.
      • Spantran (N.A.C.E.S. member) has created a custom application (with a discounted rate) for Valdosta State University's international students. The process is fully electronic. Here is the link for you to access the VSU Spantran application.
