Why become a teacher?
Helllo, my name is Tim Suttles, thank you for visiting my homepage.  I am from and have lived in Vidalia, Georgia my entire life until just recently moving to Valdosta to attend school.  I came to VSU to get a masters degree in special education.  I have always wanted to be a teacher and a football coach, but I didn't decide to become a special education teacher until about a year ago.   There have been a few different people in my life who have encouraged me to become a teacher.  I really did not have one person who inspired me to become a teacher.  I think that it was rather a few people who believe in me that have inspired me to become a teacher.

A few things that I enjoy in life.
I enjoy playing and watching all types of sports, but football is definitely my favorite.  I love to play any type of sport, whether it is just for fun or if it is as a serious competition.  In high school I played football, ran track, and played baseball.  Sports have always been a big part of my life since early childhood, and they will continue to be a big part of the remainder of my life since I plan to become a football coach when I become a teacher.  I am probaly the biggest Atlanta Falcons fan on this side of the equator, or atleast I think of my self that way.  Most people in south Georgia care more for college football than professional, but not me.  I do like college football a lot, but I just follow the falcons so close that I could tell you where almost all of the players went to college.  Beleive it or not there is a player for the Falcons who attended Valdosta State back in the mid 90's.  I guess when you grow up around people who love football with a passion it takes affect on you.  I also enjoy to read a lot.   I used to to hate to read and I wouldn't do it unless it was for school.  Over the last year or so I always have a book that I am working on.

A look at who I am.
As a person I consider myself to have a great personality.  I think of myself as being very kind and respectful.  I often get joy out of doing things for others who are in need, whether it is giving an extra hand or donating money.  I also consider myself to be a very hard worker.  No matter if it is school work or on a job I always work extremely hard to do a good job.  I often catch myself being a perfectionist and I get stressed out if things aren't going the way they should.  Other times I catch myself joking around in situations that I should be serious about.  I love to be around people who make me laugh and who love to laugh themselves.  I don't think that a person should go through a day without having some type of laughter, after all laughter is the best stress releiver of all.

Some Websites that I enjoy

Atlanta Falcons Page - This  website tells a lot about the things that interest me.  Not only do I love football, but I am a huge Falcons fanatic.  I have been to a few Falcons games in the last few years, and hopefully in the future I will be able to get season tickets.
High School Football Page - During high school  football season I always spend a lot of time on this website.  This website has articles about high school athletes of all sports.  There is also a great message board that I spend a lot of time on, that allows the fans of opposing teams to interact.
Valdosta State Page - Valdosta State is a great university, and I am proud to be a part of it.  The school and the city of Valdosta are rapidly growing.  Before I came to VSU I heard a lot of good things about the college of education here, and so far they have lived up to my expectations.
Ebay - Everyone loves to shop and ebay is the only place other than Wal Mart that carries everything from a new lamp shade to a new  seatbelt for your car.  I do a lot of browsing on ebay just to see if sometimes I can sneak up on a great deal.  Ebay is also a great place to make a profit.  If you have an item that you don't want or need, there is sure to be someone who is willing to pay you cash for it.
East Georgia College - East Georgia College is a small two year college located in Swainsboro.  I attended EGC for two years and got an AA degree in Teacher Education.  EGC is a great school that has some extremely good professors that are willing to go out of their way to provide you with extra help.
