About Me

My name is Teresa James and I live in Homerville, Georgia, where I was born and raised. I have been married for 23 years to my wonderful husband, Wesley. I also have two great kids, Hewitt and Tiffany. Wesley loves to hunt and fish. Hewitt is a high school junior, and he plays varsity football for our local team, The Clinch County Panthers. Tiffany is a 7th grader, and she enjoys cheering and school. We are active members of the Homerville United Methodist Church.

I do not have a lot of time for hobbies because I am so involved in whatever my kids are doing. My husband and I go to every football game to support Hewitt, and we are always there for whatever Tiffany is involved in. During the summer, we enjoy taking our kids skiing and knee-boarding. We also spend a lot of time with Bo, our 5 1/2 year old chocolate lab. I got interested in scrapbooking not long ago, and I even started a scrapbook for each of my kids. However, my biggest passion is photography. I love to take pictures, and I have filled many photo albums through the years. I drive my family crazy because I always have a camera in my hand.

Years ago I thought about going into the teaching profession; however, the time was never right. When the opportunity finally came, I took it and ran with it. I began my college career at Georgia Military College in Valdosta. In October of 2006, I transferred to Valdosta State University to begin my education courses. I am a currently a junior at VSU majoring in Early Childhood Education. I plan to graduate with my Bachelors degree in Spring 2008. I am eager to complete my education, and get into the classroom to begin teaching.

I am a very busy person who does not have time to waste. That is the reason I like
                    to shop at a store that has a little bit of everything. My favorite store and website is
                     Wal-Mart.

Another favorite store is JCPenny. I love to visit the store, but when I do not have
time I can easily go to their website. I can always find something on sale also.

I like to keep up with the latest news about our football team. I can find it all on
the Clinch County Sports website.

In the South, the weather can change from day to day. I like to be prepared for
any type of weather, so I like to check out The Weather Channel on a daily basis.

When you own a home, there is always something that needs to be repaired,
updated, or painted. Sometimes we just need a change. I love the home improvement
ideas from Lowe's.
