This book gives an explanation of the seven days of Kwanza and its principles. The importance of "umoja" which means unity, is shared throughout the book and expressed in forms of dance, song, food, and gifts.

This ancient Chinese Tale is about six brothers who all have one distinct characteristic. For instance, one brother can withstand excessive heat. The brothers' father is very ill and the only way to cure him is to boil a pearl and let him drink it. The brothers use their distinct talents in aiding their father's recovery. The king become furious when he finds out that the pearl is gone and sends his soldiers to find it. The first son is arrested for having the pearl and sentenced to death. Each brother uses his talents to also save the other brother. At the end, the brothers gives the king jewels and he is told the story.  The king congratulates them on their devotion to their family.

At the end, Peter Pan defeated Captain Hook and with a pinch of pixie dust, the children were on their way home.
