Welcome to Stephanie's page! |
My name is Stephanie Walker and I
am a Freshman here at VSU. I am from Thomasville, GA where I
attended Thomas County Central High School. During my high school
years, I was very involved in sports. I am also involved
in a couple of sports in my sorority. Since my first semester at
Valdosta, I have been a member of ZTA. I'm not sure what major I
will choose, and I'm not sure what I will do after graduation. I am very
close to my family, and I love to go back home and visit my mom, dad,
and sister. My sister goes to UGA, so when we are both home together at
the same time we always have fun!
The Freshman Year Experience (FYE)
Program has very good for me in many ways. I believe that the main
purpose of this class is to get you familiar with all of the people in
your class, because you will be having most of your classes with them. I
recommend FYE to all new high school students moving to college because
it really helps you get familiar with your class mates. Most of the
people who are in my FYE class also live in my dorm, so this makes it
easy for study sessions and we have a lot of fun together as well.
