My name is
ShunTina Johnson and I am a native of Valdosta, GA. Presently, I
am a junior at Valdosta State
University, and my major is Early Child Hood Education. In my opinion,
teaching is a gift that should be
shared with everyone. If you acquire that gift, then many can benefit
from it if
you open up your heart and share it with others.
I believe that teachers are a necessity
and that they are the main source of developing students into
productive citizens in our world. I also believe that teaching will
allow me to help students experience an exciting way of
learning, and hopefully it will be a memory that they cherish and
apply throughout their lives. As an adolescent, education was always
been an obligation in my house hold, and because of that, I have
developed into the person I am today. My goal is not
only to teach and to help children learn, but I want to also exhibit
the importance of learning and gaining an valuable education that will
help them to become productive and successful citizens in life.
My main inspiration for becoming an educator has been my adoring and
loving
son Coby. Having my son at a young age was one of the biggest
challenges
of my life. I knew at the time of his birth that my whole life was
going
to be
devoted to him. Although my desire was to become a teacher, having Coby
transformed my desire into a passion. Everyday he enspires and
strengthens me to conquer my goals.
