Tucked into the hills of
northwest
Georgia where three rivers meet, Rome is located approximately
halfway between Chattanooga,Tennessee and Atlanta, Georgia. Home to an
Atlanta Braves farm team, the Rome
Braves, Rome rocks all year round
with a variety of cultural, sport and volunteer activities. We
are a small city of approximately 40,000 people and have
been designated a Main Street City and a Tree City USA.
I have lived in Rome my entire adult life and am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Teaching from Valdosta State University. When I'm not at school or in school, I love to be outside, gardening, playing tennis or golf, or just walking around my neighborhood. The newest addition to my family is a precious little kitten we named Houdini because he can open closed doors! My very favorite place to be in the whole world is the beach, particularly Seagrove Beach, Florida on the Gulf Coast.

I am a special education inclusion teacher in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades at West End Elementary School, the largest elementary school in our system. I co-teach math, reading, and English language arts where we have fun learning lots of new and interesting things. For extra math practice, I recommend www.funbrain.com.
