CS 1301 A: Principles of Programming I

Course Objective:

Students will be introduced to fundamental techniques of program development
and supportive software tools; Algorithms, programs, computing systems, and
applications in a structured computer language.

Course Description:

Programming-language syntax and semantics; problem solving; algorithm design 
and implementation using modern programing paradigms and techniques; data 
types and elementary data structures. This course involves extensive 
programming activities.

Prerequisite: MATH 1101 or MATH 1111, and CS 1010 or equivalent, 
with a grade of "C" or better in each.
